Outcast Happenings
Ain't no stopping us now....
Until all animals have a home, volunteering with a Rescue organization is so important and you don't have to foster animals to save lives.
If you can - Adopt
If you can't Adopt - Foster
If you can't Foster - Sponsor
If you can't Sponsor - Volunteer
If you can't Volunteer - Donate
If you can't Donate - Network, Educate and Cross Post
Take a look below for updates, pictures and links for available dogs and some of our Happy Tails (adopted dogs)! We will be adding fundraisers soon so be sure to check back often.

Baby Amber
While we were at ACCT pulling a different dog we were approached by staff and asked to take a 10 week old puppy that was just hit by a car. We were literally the only rescue present in the shelter at that time and they were nearing the end of the shelter hours. If we didn't take her, it was likely she would have been put to sleep. As soon as we saw her, our eyes swelled up with tears. This poor baby, in such severe pain, was looking at us, tail wagging and licking our faces. There was no way we were leaving the shelter without her in our arms. We rushed to Crown Veterinary Specialists and Emergency. She was so brave through her exam, even being in such bad shape. We had xrays done and they show multiple complex fractures throughout her entire arm and her foot is basically crushed. It's so sad to see her lose her leg at such a young age, but she will heal so easily and it will be like it never happened. We need to help this baby, And we need your help to do it! Please share the link, and donate if you're able!

FOSTERS ALWAYS NEEDED!
Fostering is such a rewarding job. Helping to save a dog whose fate otherwise would not be known is one of the kindest acts you can do. Fostering not only saves 1 life, it saves 2 because it open up a space in the shelter.
Outcast will supply everything you need, all you have to do is open your home and heart to give a dog a chance at forever. If you are interested in fostering, please either email us or send a message on Facebook! All contact information is below.

Meet Isaac
Please welcome Isaac, formerly Chief, from ACCT, Philly. Isaac was surrendered by his owner who didn't have enough time for him, did not even have enough time to treat what he wrote down as hip dysplasia on his 8 month old rottweiler puppy.
We knew when we saw him on the time-stamped for euthanasia list that he deserved a chance at a long, healthy and happy life and now Isaac will have that chance for a new pain free beginning. Isaac had his initial visit with our amazing orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Ross, of Crown Veterinary Specialists and Emergency, X-rays were done and it was clear that both of Isaac's femurs were not in the sockets where they belong because the sockets are not really there. Amazingly enough, Isaac was able to walk short distances on his legs but quickly dropped to the ground because of his discomfort and his legs giving out on him. He also has a Grade 1 luxated patella which we hope will resolve once he has the surgery.
He did really well in surgery and everything looks good. Dr. Ross also neutered him while he was under so he doesn't have to go through another surgery. He already had his follow up X-rays to make sure everything is in place. We cannot thank Dr. Ross and the amazing staff of Crown Veterinary Specialists and Emergency enough for taking care of Isaac and showing him the love that he so deserves.
We are still in really desperate need of donations to help cover his surgery and physical therapy which will begin in 2 weeks. We still need to raise about $4,000 which we hope will cover everything. Please consider sending in any size donation. You can use the YouCaring link here https://www.youcaring.com/isaac-outcast-rescue-636776 ,
