Lopat's Lowdown
Office of the Principal - Faculty Newsletter October 25th
I hope you took one thing away from the great PD Brit did on Wednesday. In the upcoming weeks please spend some time reteaching expectations and continuing to further community in your classrooms. Relationships and trust are the essential foundation for us at Canyon Rim. I loved the way she grouped students and each person has a card, therefore a job/role in learning.
Philip Gibson, our new building manager's email is james.p.gibson@gilbertschools.net.
- Please look over the notes from today's Leadership meeting
- As we discussed, please make it a point to utilize the scaffolding book in your planning for ELA instruction. I am curious as to how this goes
- Please remember that the work room and the lounge are off limits to children. This includes children of adults who work here. Please respect that these spaces are to be student/child free at all times
- Classified- Monica will be setting up a meeting next week
- Be on the lookout for some new Canyon Rim apparel that will be on sale soon
Take care of each other,
-Joe
