Hobbies in Baltimore!
The oddly dull era!
How to find enjoyment in this dull life that we live!
As you know, there has been a considerable amount of attention shifted to the wrongness of slavery which has been resulting in peaceful protests. Along with all the peaceful protest going on in our streets today, we have a lot of the unemployed class becoming activist for the abolition movement. Not only are people beginning to take a more humane look on slavery, they are also taking a more positive look on nature and other aspects of life which also accounts for the increase of American painters.
Along with the rise of American painters, we also have the development of several machines which we believe to be a large scale change in how our city makes goods. The large factories often employ a large portion of the population in cities, and the fact that they are the largest employer means they have a huge say in how many hours you work. With that being said, is it even plausible that the working class in our city even have the time to take up any type of hobby?
Often with the implementation of new ideals and ways of thinking we often have a change in how writers and artist think. This is quite apparent with the publishing of Edger Allen Poe's new dark and gothic novels. Oddly enough, the public of Baltimore have taken a specific interest in this new form of literature.
Whether you are and activist in the abolition movement, a painter that conveys the beauty of nature, or one of the unique individuals that enjoys the dark style of literature that is starting to develop, there are many ways you can cure your dull life in Baltimore, Maryland!
