Social Work Services
Welcome back to the 2020-2021 School Year!
As the school social worker, I am here to offer you support during this time of remote and virtual learning. Please do not hesitate to reach out to me via my email BellJ01@wsdmi.org. You can also let your student's teacher know, and they can pass along your concerns to me. Right now we are all struggling to adapt and cope with our "New Normal". Remind yourself that it is OKAY to feel the feelings you are having now. Try and take some time for your family this weekend, if you are able, to get some fresh air and a break from the screen! Wishing you the best and please know that your Beaumont Family is here.

Important Info from Previous Newsletter:
Our staff is so happy to see so many students attending the Google meets daily. Here are some suggestions to help ensure the meets run smoothly:
1. Take care of needs (bathroom, snack, materials ready) prior to the meet
2. Provide a quiet space free from distractions (pets, siblings, TV off, phone off)
3. If you have more than one child on a meet, try not to have them in close proximity (headphones are helpful in this situation)
4. Only use the chat box when the teacher gives the okay to do so
