Turkey Talk
During Friends Group, we played Thanksgiving Bingo and matched pictures (i.e., football, turkey dinner, mashed potatoes) and practiced plurals. We enjoyed being construction workers in our building dramatic play area. Other Friends Group activities included Emotions Bingo, matching letters, letter sounds book, Duck Duck Goose, soccer, and Caribou, which practiced identifying and naming actions.
Upcoming
- No school the entire week of Thanksgiving; see you all back on the 26th!
- We will discuss more fall things at the end of November, and then move onto the CDC December theme of food, and also do activities involving December holidays

I’m thankful to Kelli, Alyssa, and Jennifer for strengthening hands and helping bodies regulate.
I’m thankful to Kara for improving gross motor skills and introducing group games.
I’m thankful to Julie, Renae, and all the teachers/staff on campus for offering support and learning the kids’ names.
I’m thankful to Mary, Jillian, Heather, Robyn, and Page for making our preschool program run.
I’m thankful to Beth and Jennifer for providing us opportunities of inclusion fun.
I’m thankful to you parents, for your selflessness, generosity, and positivity (I know at times it can be draining).
And I’m thankful to each and every student for teaching me how to be honest and making work entertaining.
“It takes a village to raise a child” is so very true,
But it’s made much easier with people like YOU.
Happy Thanksgiving, All!
