Vision Screen Training

Sycamore is offering a training by the Ohio Department of Health in vision screening at Montgomery Elementary, Oct. 6th, 9-12. The ODH is considering changes in the requirements for volunteers helping with screenings, and this training would fulfill these new requirements. While they are not in place for 2016-17, this information is valuable for anyone who wants to volunteer and explains how to conduct successful vision testing. We appreciate parent volunteers helping our schools with screenings, which are an important public health service for our community! If you’re interested in attending the training, please contact Susan Linton at lintons@sycamoreschools.org

Signups for vision screens are coming soon… If you have questions or are interested in volunteering for vision screens please contact Vanessa Shafer vdwilhelmus@yahoo.com
