Fishing with a Cop
Students then get to try their hand at fishing along side a Huntington Beach Police Officer. The night prior to the event, the lake at Carr Park is stocked with 500 pounds of catfish. This year, we did not get many bites but the students sure had fun!

Parent Information
There will be an upcoming meeting for any parents with students in grades 1-7 who are interested in the HBCSD GATE program. The meeting will be held here at Dwyer.
HBUHSD hosts Parent University nights throughout the year. The next evening is dedicated to vaping prevention. These meetings are held at various high school locations and are very informative.

October 25 - "Say Boo to Drugs" Day - costumes allowed (within guidelines)
October 25 - Halloween Dance, 1:45-3:45 PM
