LPS Elementary Campus

Weekly News, Events & Reminders Sept. 9-13

K-4 Curriculum Night is Monday

We will have our curriculum night on 9/9 starting at 6:30pm. Teachers will be doing 2 sessions so that families with more than one child can see 2 different grades. If you have 3 or more children, you and your spouse may need to divide and conquer. If you only have one child, you can simply pick which session to attend.

Please enter through the doors under the porte cochere (overhang). Doors will open at 6:20pm promptly.

Here is the schedule:

  • 6:30pm-7:00pm Session 1 in classrooms

  • 7:00pm-7:10pm Transition

  • 7:10pm-7:40pm Session 2 in classrooms

Also, be sure to stop by the Lion's Pride PTO table in the main lobby!

Even though there is now an app for you to use there are still physical Box Tops to clip off some products. Please help us encourage your child/ren to bring as many Box Tops as possible this year. We will be collecting and tallying the Box Tops.

Elementary School Goal: Each class will compete to collect the most Box Tops at the end of each grading period to receive the Box Top Trophy. At the end of the year the class that collects the most Box Tops overall will receive a popsicle party.

LPS Combined Campus Goal: Collecting $2,000 (20,000 Box Tops) this year. If the school reaches our goal the entire school will have a free dress day!!!

Collect Box Tops from family members, neighbors, and friends; as well as, from products from your own home. The money raised goes towards providing extra programs for LPS. Thank you for your assistance pursuing our goal to make this the largest Box Top income year LPS has ever had!
