Less than 3 Weeks to Go
We had a wonderful celebration of Haitian Flag Day last Friday. Photos and videos of all of the performances are posted on our Facebook page. I encourage you to take a look at them. The children worked very hard AND had a great time. We apologize for the delay and appreciate your understanding. We are already looking ahead to next year.
Much thanks to all of the staff members on the committee who put this together.
Committee: Arielle Magny, Myriame Fleurimond, Kellica Nepture, Marie Innocent, Alexandra Adolphe and our Chairperson, Shirley Dauphine
Thank you for Mrs. Kirsten White for jumping in a the last minute and helping with the costumes and to Mrs. Susan Franklin for the beautiful decorations in the auditorium.
A special thank you to the parents who helped on Friday in many areas. We could not have done it without you.

MAP Testing is taking place
As we have begun this, we see some kids just guessing and rushing through the test, and others that tediously take their time and clearly CARE about doing their best.
You can help by making sure that your child goes to be early enough and making sure that they have had breakfast AND communicating with them about the test and it's importance.
While we do not "teach the test" and we do not think that test results define a student, these test scores are one indicator of a child's progress in school. However, for them to be valid, the child needs to be on board and trying their hardest.
