Tone and Word choice
"Prayer to the Pacific", the poems words make the poem seem sort of happy. It seems kind of happy because its slower and make respectful pace almost like a prayer. The author is comparing the mysteries of the ocean, the mysteries about the beginning of the earth. In "Problems with hurricanes'', The poet doesn't like hurricanes, you shouldn't judge things about how they look. Sometimes harmful things might be dangerous in the right circumstances. They don't want them to get hurt, They want them to be safe.

They traveled in the ocean and went to explore the ocean and how pretty it is. In "problems with hurricanes'', The generations that you got killed by a flying banana. (lines, 11-13) They warn them so they don't get hurt, They want them to be safe. They said ''don't worry about the wind. (lines-30-31)
Form and Structure
In the story ''Prayer to the pacific'', The lines are formed like a wave because, it is about the pacific and how they look. Some lines like (8and25) they have one word and them its a big line spacing and it then goes to a next line. It also tells you interesting facts. In the story ''Problems with hurricanes'', the poem it rhymes. This poem has similes and metaphors. In lines that have similes is (12-13) also in lines (14-16).
