Hillcrest's Fall Newsletter
From the Principal
Dear Hillcrest Families
October is always a fun month at school as we dive into all things Fall and gear up for the busy holiday season. We have certainly had a busy start to the school year and are thankful we are able to work with students in-person. While a full day of school is familiar to many of our third, fourth and fifth graders, a full day of school is new (or difficult to remember) for our Kindergarten, first, and second graders! We are working hard on settling into classrooms, establishing routines, and getting down to the business of learning.
In November, we hope to move two classes into our portable spaces. Both students and staff have been very flexible with our "squishy" start to the school year! In the photo above, students and staff are working on reading skills in our cafeteria. We are all looking forward to the portables being ready for occupancy!
If you you questions, comments, or concerns, feel free to contact me by calling 541-756-8348 or sending an e-mail to sfletcher@nbend.k12.or.us .
Sincerely,
Stacia Fletcher
Principal
