Definitions of each term
Cells- The smallest structural and function unit of an organism.
Tissues- A large mass of similar cells that make up a part of an organism and perform a specific function.
Organs- A part of an organism that is typically self-contained and has a specific vital function, such as the heat or liver in humans.
Organ systems- In biology, an organ system is a group of organs that work together to perform one or more functions.
Organisms- The material structure of an individual life form
