SHARK SHOUTOUTS
A huge THANK YOU and SHARK SHOUT OUT to everyone who was in our building on School Photo Days! Even with precautionary protocols looming, our 2 photo days at MRHS were great successes! The photographer was professional and personable, the students were tremendously cooperative and respectful, and the teachers so accommodating; considering all the PA interruptions during the 2 days! I must specifically and emphatically include a special Shark Shout Out to Ms. Kosloski who was there throughout, while the 750+ people (staff and students) came to have their photos taken. Photo day ran the smoothest ever and it's all thanks to our collective effort! For that, I thank every one of you! Let's hope the pictures come in just as perfect! -Mrs. Janet Ferro
A super shark shout-out to the incomparable Janet Ferro who seamlessly pulled together what is arguably the biggest jigsaw puzzle of a picture day schedule and got the school through it with a minimum of interruptions. Thank you for all that you do for our school! -Mrs. Rachel Barnes
- Shoutouts to our Guidance team and especially Jonathan Bennett for all the help with struggling students and students who needed to switch classes. Also to John Herring, Kerri Robinson and Jen Coyner for their help with my students in their academic support classes. Special thanks to Rachel Barnes for all her efforts to get us up to speed on the technology front, and to Pauline Linnell for her Gamification training, which has been a huge help in a fully remote, asynchronous "classroom." Thanks, too to Lisa Doyle for helping to edit my assignments, and to Rich Houston for his valuable input in our Distance Learning Seminar PLC. Finally, a note of appreciation to George Sowpel for so ably leading the Distance Learning Instructors as we make Distance Learning Seminar into something really special! -Mr. Matthew Brown
A grateful shark shout out to the students and faculty of Oak Street Academy. They have done an outstanding job of being right there when we need them to make our community safe and welcoming. Their Friday checks on our Force of Nature cleaning supplies have made everyone's day easier and ensured our classrooms stay as germ-free as possible. I love hearing about all of the ways they have reached out to make our school a nicer place to be! -Mrs. Rachel Barnes
- The Oak Street Academy would like to give a big Shark Shout Out to Larry Souza for all his help in the technology/woodshop and taking our longboards to the next level with Lazer etched designs! -Oak Street Academy

Dads' Talk
All Dads and Father Figures are encouraged to register for this supportive group facilitated by Paul Melville.
Meetings are held the second Tuesday of the month from 6:30pm-7:30pm. (This programming is funded by Family Continuity and a SAFE Child Communities grant through the Children’s Trust & a CFCE grant from the MA Dept. of Early Education and Care. It is administered by Cape Cod Children’s Place and Family Continuity’s Cape Cod and Nantucket Family Resource Center.)
Studies show that children grow up happier with nurturing fathers in their lives. This group is designed for Dads and father figures at a time when stress can be high, life is unpredictable, and there is less social connection in our lives. Take time for yourself and hear how others are coping as caregivers of children and families. Create your own “toolbox” for effective parenting by gaining skills for handling challenging behaviors, calming stress, and learning effective communication and positive discipline strategies for raising healthy children.
Pre-registration is required. To receive a Zoom link, email info@capecodchildrensplace.com or call Cape Cod Children’s Place at (508)-240-3310.

Great defensive performances were put out by seniors Miles Boyle and Josh Coughlan, along with junior Wesley Ulrich. Some key performances were also made by captains Sean Deveau and Sam Higgins. Deveau made some breathtaking saves to keep the game scoreless.
