War Hero
Alan Turing, 23 June 1912- 7 June 1954, was one of the great hero's of the second world war and was one of the main reasons we won. He was a British mathematician who, with a group of others at Bletchley Park, cracked the Enigma code and many other German messages which enabled allies to defeat the Nazis in multiple important battles.

He studied as an undergraduate at King's College in Cambridge, where he earned first class honours in maths.
