From the Principal
November is a great month to help teach our children about giving to others and showing gratitude to others. As I walk the halls of the school, I am greeted by so many images of our children demonstrating gratitude to each other and to our teachers and staff. Our Panthers show kindness in their attitudes and manners, they help their peers during class activities, they create art about the people they love, and they are kind to others. Thanksgiving is great time to continue to help students learn more about being grateful.
I would like to share a great resource for additional things you can do to continue gratitude building at home, the Website is "13 Most Popular Gratitude and Popular Activities" available at https://positivepsychology.com/gratitude-exercises/. I really like the Gratitude Box activity, we did this with our children when they were younger, and many years later they still have the letters. I hope you will do one activity together as a family, and share your success with hashtag #PAWSitivePanthers2020.
Your Proud Principal,
Dr. Martinez
