Rountree Report
November 2017
Rountree Owl Update
We just had our monthly assembly where we recognized our students for being confident and taking risks. We are so lucky to have such amazing kiddos at Rountree. Students are caught on a daily basis making good choices and showing kindness to each other. Please keep sending in those learner profile slips. We love hearing what your kiddos are doing at home. Thank you for all that you do to support your kids and Rountree.
Bird presentation
3rd graders listened to a zoo presentation about birds as a part of their animal adaptations unit.
KSMU
5th graders travel to KSMU each month to give a Rountree news update.
Dental Health
K-3rd graders listened to a funny Delta Dental Health presentation and got to take home a dental health prize bag.
The holidays are coming!
We are looking forward to the holiday season at our house. Now that we have a son in college the holiday breaks are especially cherished. I love participating in all the fun holiday traditions. One tradition we started with our boys was buying a new family game during the holiday season. What traditions do you enjoy? The best thing about traditions is you can start a new one at any time!

Reminders
Tardies
- Please do what you can to help your child arrive at school on time. We begin our day of learning promptly at 8:50 and when children come in late they miss out.
Changes in how your child is getting home?
- Call the office and let Miss Erin know by 2pm. This allows plenty of time to share the message with your child and his/her teacher.
Employee Recognition
Please take the time to complete an employee recognition form. We use these forms to award our staff member of the month. We have amazing staff members at Rountree!
