Looking Ahead

9/7 LABOR DAY - NO SCHOOL

9/9 Library Curbside Forms are Due

9/10 Curbside Check-out Pick-up from 4:00-6:00pm

From the Front Office

Congratulations to the whole village for two fantastic weeks of distance learning. We are learning more each and every day as we live through this time together. One of the challenges we knew we would face in these early days is the inability to hire substitute teachers for planned or emergency absences. But in true McKelvey fashion, we were committed to making these circumstances a little bit easier. Parents will continue to be notified by email, but in addition to having access to curriculum via video-taped lessons, we will also provide some type of live, face-to-face contact with a familiar staff member at various points of the day. Students (and families or caregivers) will be greeted live by a member of our school team and at the very least will be guided through what to expect for the day. We appreciate your support as we continue to get creative and make the most of a tough situation.

We wish you all a very safe, relaxing holiday weekend!

We want to make sure all families have equal access to information. Many of our families speak, read, and understand more than one language. Please let us know how we can best support you by completing the SURVEY LINKED HERE by Friday, September 18. Thank you!

We are here for you as you enter a new community during trying times, but you have arrived in a wonderful place!
