Hey 7th Graders!

Would you like to be a part of the ASB Cabinet next year?

Orange Cohort: Grab your lunch and then meet on Monday, April 19th in room 106.

Purple Cohort: Grab your lunch and then meet on Tuesday, April 20th in room 102.

Be sure to come on your assigned day as we cannot mix cohorts.

Detentions will be served Friday.

Effective today, all no shows for detention will result in receiving an additional detention.

Detention + No Show = Two Detentions

Time Sensitive Yearbook Dates & Information-

1. Yearbooks are only available through online order

2. You must create an account (see information below on how to do that)

3. DOUBLE CHECK that you have actually ordered a yearbook and not just set up an account. You order your book AFTER setting up your account.


5. ALL PURCHASES MUST BE made by May 1st!

Graduation Requirements

Participation in the 8th-grade graduation ceremony is an opportunity and privilege reserved for those students who have worked hard to pass academic standards and have complied with behavior standards set forth by the Susanville School District, the California Education Code, and Diamond View School.


The requirements are:

1. Students must have a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 or above from the eighth grade.

2. Students must have less than 3 demerits.

3. Students must have been continuously enrolled at Diamond View School for the entire third trimester.

4. Students must have passed the United States Constitution Test.

Students need to eat their food in their classroom during study hall. It is a working lunch. They are not to be outside or roaming around with their lunches. From now on there is NO food allowed in the bus line. If you are still hungry and want seconds, we will serve that in the multi between 1-1:10. Do not come down early. You will be asked to sit at a cohort assigned a color to eat the leftovers. Then you may go back to the bus line. All seconds will stop being served at 1:10.

Club Zoom Meetings

All Club communications take place in the stream of the club google classroom. Please note the following changes to club times and days:

**Newspaper and Yearbook will meet only on the 2nd Tuesday of each month.

**Art and Drama will meet on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of each month (please note the day of the week has changed).

**GATE will continue to meet every Thursday.

All times are moving to 2:15pm for all clubs beginning the week of February 8th.

All necessary cancellations will be posted in the stream communication of the google classroom of the club effected.
