Send in a photo of your pet "reading" a book (must be in jpeg format). The photo must contain a pet and a book. Be creative!

Entries will be judged based on originality, cuteness, and photography. (Students must be the photographer).

Prizes may include doggie treat baskets donated by Suburban Mutt and gift cards to Katy Budget Books!

Texas PTA was well represented at the Capitol last week!

The Senate Education Committee hearing opened at 9:00 am, Wednesday March 22nd to a packed and overflowed room. After roughly 13 hours, Suzi Kennon, President of Texas PTA testified against all vouchers.

You, the parents, amplified her remarks by sending roughly 2,500 messages by email and social media platforms. In one collective voice, legislators on both sides of the aisle now are clear that no matter what you call them, Vouchers are bad for Texas children!

Thank you for your action! Stay tuned; the voucher conversation is just the beginning.

People on the committee will have preference when we are picking chaperone/night of the dance volunteers.

Every year, Katy ISD hosts a fantastic event to honor ALL volunteers around the district. They are showing their appreciation to us, throughout this amazing morning.

This event is made even more memorable for everyone by music, food, your peers, and this year's speaker, Geoff Blum.
