CR West Week 6

To Know God and to Make Him Known

We Made It!

Praise God we are halfway through the first semester! Thank you to the tutors and their children for working so diligently to make our first six weeks successful. Thank you to our moms who serve as our support staff and ensure that things run smoothly each Monday.

Our campus is full of smiles!

Nature Walk

Thanks to everyone who joined us on Monday for our nature walk! We had a nice time! If you couldn't join us please try to go on a nature walk either this week or next week with your children. Bring any finds to community day on Nov. 2nd and/or Nov. 9th. You can bring leaves, dead bugs, twigs, etc. I sent out an email with more detailed instructions. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks to Marcy!

Thanks Marcy for hosting a wonderful Mom's Night Out last Friday. Look for Marcy on campus on Monday if you signed up to participate in the Christmas prayer/gift exchange. Marcy has the box from which to choose a name.

Tin Whistle & Nature Journal ~ Bring on Monday

Please bring your tin whistle to campus each week from now until December 14th. Also, on Thursday I will be emailing you a pdf file of our nature journal. Please print one for each of your children (they are class specific). Bring this with you on Monday. Your tutor will be collecting nature journals each week. If you have any issues printing the journal at home please let me know. I'm happy to print it for you if needed.

Day of Prayer

Thursday, Oct. 29th, 9am

This is an online event.

Please join me to pray for our community on Thursday, Oct. 29th. Here are some suggestions of what to pray for....

--upcoming school board elections in Douglas County (that those elected will support homeschool initiatives)

--our tutors and Aubrey and Brianna, our childcare workers

--the staff of Calvary Chapel

--our children, specifically health and wellness as we approach cold/flu season

--the couple who is living in their car at the gas station next to Calvary Church

--traveling mercies for those going away for Thanksgiving

--endurance for our Challenge and Essentials families as they strive to complete the first semester

--anything else God calls you to pray for :-)
