Membrane bound organelles
The rough Endoplasmic Reticulum
The rough endoplasmic reticulum is like the transportation system of the cell. it sends signals and ribosomes to help the cell. Ribosomes on the rough endoplasmic reticulum are called 'membrane bound' and are responsible for the assembly of many proteins. This process is called translation.
