Sponsor a family this Holiday Season!

Hello Parents and Guardians,

This holiday season, as a way to support our community, the Owyhee Staff is working to secure sponsors for families who are in need of holiday assistance. If you would like to be considered for holiday assistance or sponsor a family, please complete the attached application. Both the sponsor and the family needing assistance will remain anonymous. We will be filling requests in the order in which applications are returned to Owyhee. If we secure a sponsor for your family, we will notify you of the support you will be receiving. All application forms will need to be submitted no later than 11/18/2020. No information other than family list of needs will be provided to the sponsor. If you are planning to be a sponsor, we ask that sponsors have all gifts ready and delivered to Owyhee no later than 12/18/2020. We will distribute the gifts prior to the holiday break on 12/23/2020. This is an excellent opportunity to be a part of the Owyhee community and to support those in need. Thank you all for your support.

20-21 Operation School Bell Information

If you are interested in participating in Operation School Bell, we are now submitting orders. Operation School Bell is a project of the Assistance League of Boise. They assist families by providing new clothing and shoes to elementary school students without cost to families. They will make every effort to select clothing that fits your child based on the measurements and sizes you provide below and what they have available. ACCURATE MEASUREMENTS AND SIZES ARE CRITICAL, as returns and exchanges are NOT ALLOWED due to Covid-19.

Please fill out the form below for EACH CHILD at Owyhee Elementary you wish to participate. Contact your school counselor, Mr. Diemart, charles.diemart@boiseschools.org if you have any questions. All information is confidential. Sewing measuring tapes are pretty inexpensive at Walmart/Fred Meyer, etc. If you cannot afford one, I may have one that I can send you (email me to let me know), but you'll have to wait for me to get my delivery and then send them to you. If you can borrow one from a friend or family member who sews, that may be the fastest way to get the information needed.

Many families who have expressed interest in participating may have already received an email regarding this but we still have several spots open for those who would like to participate! Please fill out the link below.
