The Sailor Signal
Cottage Lake Elementary - March 20, 2022
A Note from Principal Welch
Last week sure proved to be LUCKY on so many levels! On Thursday, we welcomed back our PTA Fun Run, Walk & Roll. It was amazing being back together, including parents to cheer studnets on, for this wonderful fundraising event. I am in AWE of our community and all you have done to help raise money for our school. I can share with you that when we level for the weekend, we were inching closer to almost $30,000 in money raised for our event. Thank you! As I look at the Boosterthon website this evening, I am also so very thankful to those of you who have the ability to submit for corporate matching of funds. As of now, our corporate matches are sitting at over $7600. WOW!! Pledges close this evening, so if you are able to submit for a corporate match, please do so. Thank you, Thank You, THANK YOU for all you to do support our school and community!!
Because of our incredible fundraising work, we have a week of celebrations this coming week. Please read this information in the next section to learn what is happening each day. We are going to have fun together, Sailors!
I am looking forward to a great week ahead!
Take Care,
~ Jen Welch, Principal
