Braves Camp 2019!
Dates: August 12th-14th, 2019 (Monday – Wednesday)
Time: 5:00 PM – 7:30 PM
Site: Canandaigua Academy
Grades: Modified-Varsity: 7-12
Modified-Varsity Participants: $75 – CASH or Checks
Payable to CA Football Boosters
Youth Participants: $50 – CASH or Checks Payable to CA
** Families with multiple kids attending camp: 1st attendee full price, all others are half price**

ADDITIONAL CAMP STAFF:
The coaching staff of the Canandaigua Braves football program from Youth through Varsity levels.
· Former CA Greats (Coaches and Players)
· Collegiate Coaches
The Braves Football Camp will offer student athletes the opportunity to develop skills and techniques associated with all offensive and defensive phases of football.
JV and Varsity participants will be wearing school issued shoulder pads and helmets. Mouth guards and cleats are also required. No lower body gear is needed.
Modified participants will receive school issued helmets, shoulder pads, practice jerseys and a mouth guard the first day of camp. They will wear equipment throughout camp and will keep it for the upcoming season. They will need to bring cleats.
Youth participants will receive Frank Baker Youth Football League issued helmets, shoulder pads, practice jerseys and a mouth guard the first day of camp. They will wear equipment throughout camp and will keep it for the upcoming season. They will need to bring cleats.
Merchadise Sales - Week of August 12th - In the Academy Gym
Football Merchandise for the upcoming season (and discounted items from last season!) will be available the following nights the week of August 12th:
- Monday August 12th - during Braves Camp
- Tuesday August 13th - during Braves Camp
- Thursday August 15th - at Frank Baker Registration/Equipment Night
Frank Baker Football - New Web Site and Registration is Open for Tackle and Flag Leagues!
Youth season is rapidly approaching and you can click on the link below to register your child for Tackle and Flag. We ask for planning purposes that you register your child as soon as possible, however if needed on August 15th from 7- 8PM in the Academy Gym we welcome you to come and register in person! Computer terminals will be available that night so you can register and pay at that time. League personnel will be on hand to assist!

Volunteers - Parents needed from Baker to Brave!
No Braves football season can be successful without the help of YOU! We need staffing for Varsity Home games, as well as JV home games during the season. Please consider a shift or two in concessions this season. You'll be helping the program and it is a great chance to get to know other Braves parents.
We are firming up dates and times for non - Varsity games. In the meantime, please consider a volunteer opportunity at one or more Varsity games!

Mad Dog Camp for Varsity and JV Players - Donation Requested for Food Costs
The annual Mad Dog Camp is scheduled for Tuesday, August 27th through Wednesday, August 28th at Camp Stella Maris on Conesus Lake. This camp is for JV and Varsity players only. This year rather than asking for food donations, we are asking for JV and Varsity parents to contribute $10 per family to cover the cost of meals for the players. (If you are unsure if your 9th grader will be a JV or Freshman team member you can wait until you know)

Season Openers for Varsity and JV Teams
Believe it or not the season is right around the corner! All season openers are special, but this year we will be participating in the Teddi Bowl at Victor HS in support of Camp Good Days and Special Times. Already, the Varsity Players have visited Camp Good Days and spent time with some of the campers.
JV - HOME vs Victor - Wednesday, September 4th at Evans Field 4:30 PM
Varsity - Away at Victor HS - Thursday, September 5th at 7:00 PM
