We welcome our families back to in-person curriculum nights!
The doors at the Main Entrance will open at 5:00pm and Curriculum Night will be in your student’s classroom. We are holding one grade level per night to allow for adequate parking and social distancing. Masks are required in all MRSD buildings.
There will be a donation jar in the lobby for activities for our students such as Field Day.
Mrs. Oldach and Mrs. Hughes will give a short video welcome presentation followed by the teacher’s overview of the grade level curriculum and expectations. Our unified arts teachers will be available at the kindergarten Curriculum Night to welcome our newest families!
To assist with social distancing, we ask that only one parent/caregiver attend Curriculum Night for each student.
Fourth Grade Curriculum Night in Mrs. Cleary's Classroom on Tuesday 9/21
School Starts at 7:45 am - Be on Time!
Now that our arrival routines for family drop offs and buses are smoothly in place, students will be marked tardy after 7:45am beginning on Monday, October 4. . Our doors open for student arrivals at 7:35am, and the school day officially begins at 7:45.
Beginning October 1, staff at Door 3 and Door 6 will close the drop off doors at 7:45 am. If you arrive after this time :
- Proceed to the Main Entrance
- Park your car
- Ring the door bell and bring your student inside for a tardy pass.
Bus riders are not marked tardy if the bus is late.
Need to get your child to school earlier? Remember that Early Morning Drop Off is at Door 2 between 7:15 and 7:30am. Students are supervised in the cafeteria until the bell rings at 7:35am when they can pick up breakfast and then go to their homerooms.
Important Change to Cafeteria Lunches - Peanut and Nut Free Lunches from Home
In order to ensure adequate social distancing, we have added more seating area to accommodate our grade level lunches. As a result, we do not have the flexibility with seating that we have had in the past to allow for students to bring peanut and nut items in their lunches. It is extremely important that students bring peanut and nut-free lunches to school. This effort will go a long way to protect all students and is greatly appreciated.
Snacks in the classroom do not need to be peanut and nut-free unless your classroom teacher has made you aware of an allergy accommodation in your student’s class.
