September 2020: From the Desk of Principal Sicking
This year we have had many changes in our everyday routines, but I can say that it has been absolutely AMAZING! This is thanks to YOU, parents, and our students and staff!
COVID-19 Protocols & Face Coverings
Muenster ISD Campus Procedures Related to COVID-19 (Details & Flowchart)
Muenster ISD is asking parents and students do their part to help mitigated the spread of COVID-19 so we can continue to offer in-person classes. To review these procedures, click on the link above.
Face coverings are required for all staff and all students 4th grade and above. Although face coverings are not required for students below 4th grade at Muenster ISD, we are strongly encouraging masks. Face shields may be used in place of a mask to protect eyes, nose, and mouth whenever a mask is not feasible or whenever the educational context may benefit from the ability to see an individual’s full face.
We are encouraging students in Pre-K through 3rd grade to wear face coverings in classrooms, hallways, common areas, and during arrival and dismissal, and may be required at other times when social distancing is not possible, such as on the bus. All students (PK-12) will be expected to wear a mask during the entirety of the time they are riding a school bus.
All students that will ride the bus, must fill out this form prior to the first day of classes. Please fill out the form and send to email@example.com before Wednesday, Aug. 12, 2020.
