Attendance Matters at RC
Absenteeism in the first month of school can predict poor attendance throughout the school year. Half the students who miss 2-4 days in September go on to miss nearly a month of school.
RC School Improvement Goal--Increase the overall daily attendance by .5%. Attendance for September 20/21 was 94.4%

Progress Reports at now available

Drop Off and Pick Up
All supervision before school begins at 8:15am rain or shine. If you need child care prior to 8:15am, please consider registering for Boys & Girls Club. They open at 7am.
Parents are asked not to park on Ridge Circle during pick up and drop off time. If there is an emergency at Ridge Circle the emergency vehicles cannot get to the building. THIS IS A SAFETY RISK FOR RIDGE CIRCLE.
Parent vehicles should not be located in the staff lot.
All drivers must stay in their car while in the turnabout. No parking is allowed. Please do not drop students off in/near the crosswalk.
All parents should walk their child(no car) or drive and drop off in the turnabout. Thank you!
When students are in the building, cell phones must be powered off and out of sight. Students must not have their devices at recess/lunch or in bathrooms.

Nurse Information
The following are symptoms of COVID 19.
-Fever (100.4 or higher)
-New onset of moderate to severe headache
-Shortness of breath
-New cough
-Sore throat
-Vomiting
-Diarrhea
-New loss of sense of taste or smell
-Fatigue from an unknown cause
-Muscle or body aches from an unknown cause
If your child is experiencing one or more symptoms, they need to remain at home as well as all siblings. Please call Ridge Circle.
If your child is quarantining, they should be using their computer to access learning on the teacher's Canvas Page. Individual questions about classroom instruction can be directed to the classroom teacher.
Students who are quarantining, need to remain at home and not on school property.
If you are having your child tested in order to return to school, the district recognizes the
RT-PCR test only. (No rapid tests)

- U-46 will offer Shield Testing(for COVID 19) for all families interested.
- Testing will be conducted at Ridge Circle every week (starting the week of September 27)
- Students will be asked to spit in a tube

Title I Parent Information
RC is a Title I School. A title I school is a school receiving federal funds for Title I students. The basic principle of Title I is that schools with large concentrations of low-income students will receive supplemental funds to assist in meeting student's educational goals. Click to learn more.
