A message from Mrs. McComsey
Bancroft Elementary Principal
May is here and I am hopeful that Mother Nature will treat us to some beautiful weather for the rest of the year! We are wrapping up state testing and our students need to get outside for fresh air and exercise! Speaking of state testing...I cannot tell you how proud I am of the hard working 3rd, 4th and 5th graders! Everyday they come to school ready to give their very best! We have noticed how hard they are trying and we appreciate your support in these efforts! Our 1st and 2nd graders have been WONDERFUL with showing support for our test takers and they have also been so respectfully quiet in the building!
You have probably already heard, but we are taking a very close look at our school goals in these last few weeks of school. The post pandemic reality of our school life is that we need to continually reinforce our expectations for respect, responsibility, safety and kindness. I hope that you are hearing about these great lessons and that you are also seeing these great goals in your home as well.

Update on QuickTables goal
*Ask your child: What QuickTable are you working on? What percentage have you completed? What is your goal this week?
Congratulations to the many students that have already completed all of the tables (Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication and Division!)! #BancroftProud
