Blessing of the Pets

We are looking forward to the Blessing of the Pets on Monday, October 4th at 2:30pm. This event will be held outside as always. Please make sure pets stay outside of the school. We have had so many fun pets in the past and this is is so special for the children!

Parents Night is October 5th

The boys football season is going great! Parents night will be Tuesday, October 5th. This is a change from the original schedule, so please make note of the date change. We are in need of some volunteers to work the concession stand and the gate that night as well. Feel free to reach out to Craig Ness directly at 906-399-0605 if you are able to help out.

Supply chain issues...

Due to the impact COVID-19 has had on our economy and supply chain, we are experiencing unprecedented shortages of food and other supplies needed for this school year. We have been working with our suppliers to secure necessary supplies but several of them are unable to meet the demands for a variety of reasons. We are reaching a point where many of our menu items and packaging materials are not available. This is an issue at schools all across Michigan, not just here at Holy Name Catholic School.

In order to ensure that we can provide meals to your children every day, it may be necessary at times to change the menu, with short notice, based on availability. We take great pride in the work that we do and we will do everything we can to ensure that the kids get a quality meal. We appreciate your trust in us and we thank you for your understanding.

Also, it would greatly help for each student to have a waterbottle with them in order to cut down on cup waste (we are having a hard time getting them and keeping them in stock). Hydrated kids are happy kids!
