UIL Academic Meet

We are looking forward to participating in the UIL Academic Meet on November 17. Students who are participating in an event should have received a letter and a permission slip. UIL coaches will give your student a schedule of times for the different events. Middle school and elementary students not participating in UIL events that day will have no school.

LBMS is hosting the UIL Meet. To show our appreciation, students who are participating will be rewarded with a field trip on Friday, November 20.

November is American Diabetes Month

November is American Diabetes Month. Lubbock-Cooper ISD has teamed with the American Diabetes Association to help raise funds for research to find a cure.

Here at Lubbock-Cooper Middle School, cheerleaders will be selling bracelets and paper hands for $1.00 each during the grade level lunches. Students may wear the bracelets to show their support for a cure and put their name on the hand and have it displayed in the cafeteria. The grade level that raises the most money from November 9-19 will win a Coke float party on Friday November 20 at the end of the day.
