BMHS SPIRIT WEEK 2020
Student Senate members have been working hard to prepare a fun week of BMHS spirit for everyone which will be held next week! We all wish that we were back in the building and enjoying this time together, but due to the safety concerns we have to put the health of the BMHS students and staff before anything else.
Below is the BMHS Spirit Week calendar for next week, planned by your Student Senate! Each day will have a dress up day as well as an activity during academic lab. This would be a great way to have some fun, connect with your classmates and teachers! There will also be opportunities for prizes for students that participate!
--Term 1 Parent-Teacher Conferences
It is that time of the year again and we are excited to share our first term conference schedule with you. On October 7th, from 12:00 - 7:00 p.m., you will have the opportunity to connect with your teen’s teacher for a virtual meeting to discuss how the first term of the school year is progressing. Conferences will be conducted via Google Meets. Each teacher has designated time slots through a program called Calendly for you to sign up for. Conference slots are 10 min. each, so we ask that you make sure you have Internet access ready for the scheduled virtual session. Please be watching for an email from you teen’s teachers with direct access to the Calendly link for available time slots to sign up for. You can also access each teacher’s Calendly link here.
To sign up for a conference slot, all you need to do is click the link next to each teacher’s name that you would like to conference with, and choose an appointment to sign up for. After you complete the steps for signing up, you will receive a confirmation email. Interpretation Services will be available. If you need Spanish interpretation during conferences, please email me with the message “Yo necesito interprete en español para las conferencias de maestro.”
If you have any questions regarding the sign up process please do not hesitate to contact your teen’s teacher(s) directly or call 361-3000. We thank you once again for your commitment to your child's education and look forward to meeting with you on October 7th.
