Starting School Later
By Kareena Patel
My topic is getting schools to start later to get more time to study, eat breakfast, and sleep.
More time to review and study
With more time to study, you will get better grades, which can lead to a better future and you wouldn't be depressed about bad grades.
More time to eat breakfast
With more time to eat a proper breakfast, you won't be eating more food later, you can concentrate in class, and be on time.
More time to sleep
With more sleep, you could focus, you wouldn't be a distraction, and you can give your brain a rest.
Counter Argument
However some might argue that, you wouldn't be prepared for the future with being used to the luxury of for time to sleep and study. You would be groggy in the morning from sleeping more. You would also have a longer school day because of the early start.
Rebuttal
Being prepared for the future
But, in college, if you wake up early in the morning or choose to have classes later in the day, then you would have time to study, just like in the past.
Tired in the morning
If you are groggy in the morning, you can just give yourself more time in to "fully wake up".
Shorter school days
If you have shorter school days, then it can be a longer school day to make up for the missed time in the morning.
Conclusion
Obviously, schools should start later to give students more time to study, eat a proper breakfast, and sleep more.
