Superintendent's Update
May 6, 2020
Dear Families:
Today during Governor's Hogan's press conference, it was announced that the school closure will be extended through the remainder of the school year.
As with the last extension, we will continue to develop instructional materials in two-week blocks. In addition, we have been working on graduation plans with high school principals, the Department of Emergency Services, and the Cecil County Sheriff's Office following the meeting of the Graduation Task Force. Several options have been developed for recognizing and celebrating our graduating seniors, but at this current time, it is dependent upon the limits of the Governor's Executive Orders, particularly the stay-at-home directive. We will provide an update to families early next week.
Thank you for your continued support during this unprecedented time in our history.
Sincerely,
Jeffrey A. Lawson, Ed.D.
