Not all Superheroes Wear Capes

Weekly Updates

Jeanette and I hope we were able to catch everyone on Friday to tell you how OUTSTANDING we think you are and provide you an Ornament of appreciation! While putting the acronyms in the ornaments, I reflected on how far we have come in such a short time! Wow! We have conquered BSIPS and GLIPS/DIPS, PDPs and now we have moved on to UOIs! Not to mention, you all have done so with OUTSTANDING attitudes!

Celebration!

Ms. Lindsay Lawson will be joining us on Monday to begin co-teaching with Chris as he transitions to Sweeny. Lindsay comes to us from JTSD in Nixa where she student taught in a 5th grade classroom. I had the privilege to observe Lindsay in her classroom and was impressed with her ability to form connections with students while holding high expectations for learning. I know you will all welcome Lindsay as she jumps on board mid-year and amongst the Christmas chaos!
