Thursday: 2016 Alice Louise Women in Scholarship Lecture

Julie Crockett will present Bouncing and Boiling Droplets on Slippery Superhydrophobic Surfaces, based on her work in the Department of Mechanical Engineering.

The Alice Louise Reynolds Women-in-Scholarship Lecture was established to honor Alice Louise Reynolds, who served on the committee that provided the beginnings of the Harold B. Lee Library. She devoted many years to the realization of her dream for a large, comprehensive university research library at BYU. The effects of her unselfish service are still felt at the Harold B. Lee Library and at BYU.

The Library in Social Media: #hbllcheesecake

Today's "Cheesecake" event was very successful. We gave out almost 1,000 prices of cake, plus a lot of cheese cubes. Thank you to everyone who helped make this happen. Special thanks to Jewel Marsh who found the story about President Lee and cake.
