TTFN takes place in California during the present and the main conflict in the story is when Angela's dad looses his job, but finds another one in California which means they would have to move. The books begins with the characters; Angel, Maddie, and Zoe i-Messaging each other about hanging out at Angela's house.
Character Analysis
The main character throughout the story is Angela. Three words to describe Angela is that she's very generous, independent, and truthful. Angela is only motivated by needing someone to talk to when she's sad, also Angela i-Messages her friends, and is also motivated when she has her believe bracelet. The relationship between Angela and Zoe is that they both are into boys and sometimes argue.
I rate this novel a 9 because some teens can relate to this book. One connection is that some girls can relate to this novel because some girls actually go through with having one of their best-friends move. One disconnection is that some teens can't relate to this novel because not many have problems like the characters; Angela, Maddie, and Zoe in the book.
Theme:
The theme of the novel is about friends who have been together for a long time. One example that supports the theme is having a good true friends who care about you and have been with you through thick and thin. Another example is how some of your friends keep secrets from you and how some don't. A third example from the book is how much teens communicate by texting one another when you can't see them face to face. A final example that supports them is how much support you give your friends when you are sad or angry.
