Wednesday Morning Message
Glen Burnie High School Social Studies Department, Feb. 17
Another Short Week!
Good Morning,
I hope you all enjoyed the snowy President's Day and icy/rainy Tuesday! As we move forward in our shortened week let's continue to focus on moving ahead in our curriculum so we don't start falling behind. Also, make sure you are updating your grade books in preparation for both Parent-Teacher Conferences on Monday and interim distribution on March 2.
Please make sure your SLOs are turned in to either myself or Ms. Berner. Paper copies are preferred.
Kudos!
Congratulations to Ms. Williams for being accepted as a fellow in the TOP program where she'll be spending 2 weeks in Germany in July! Great Job!

Question for the Week
Be prepared to answer the following question at tomorrow's Department Meeting:
After breaking down the data at our PD, it was determined that we saw improvements in the literacy standards, but no change or decrease in some of the content standards. What can the teams do to address this as we move towards the Q3 exam?
