EPCUSD Construction Update

Elmwood Elementary
Construction has begun at Elmwood Elementary School. The structure for the new boiler room and the interior courtyard addition are underway. The first floor renovations will begin later this month. Teachers and staff members are working hard to have the entire first floor packed by the end of the school year so that the construction company can take full advantage of the summer work days. The second floor classrooms at Elmwood will be renovated next summer. To maximize the amount of work being done this summer the start of the 2022-2023 school year will be August 31, 2022.

John Mills Elementary
Construction of the new addition and the interior remodeling at John Mills will begin on May 31. The majority of first and second floor classrooms will be addressed this summer so all classroom furniture and supplies will be moved and stored off site. In addition to the classroom renovations, the cafeteria and gymnasium will have new LED lighting installed. Teachers and staff will have their supplies returned just in time for the start of the 2022-2023 school year. The art room and classrooms above the main office will be renovated during the summer of 2023.
