Where does Jaguars belong in the food chain? Of course, as a fierce carnivore, located at the pretty high level of the food chain. Its diet ranges from smaller creatures like fish to big mammals like deers. Also, they were known to catch their prey by waiting on top of the tree, relying on proximity rather than speed (Nat.)
Habitat
What kind of habitats that jaguars prefer to live? Most of the time, jaguars like to live in forests and jungles, especially if it contains a lot of water. Its population ranges from Brazil to North America, covering most part of the Amazon River Basin (IUCN.) .
