President's Address
It's a beautiful start of a new journey and I congratulate you all for being in the family. I hope you enjoy the participation and get out of your comfort zone.
Let your imagination run wild,Be creative as much as you can,redefine your own boundaries. You are entitled to your position because you have earned it and now is the time for us all to leave a legacy and it can be done only and only when we have ownership to the organisation and to our portfolios. PORTFOLIO UPDATES
TALENT MANAGEMENT
Vice President : Aditya Varma
" I see AIESEC VIT as being the best LC in Inida by the end of next two years.
I see future leaders inspiring people with no more than a 5 minute conversation.
I see people living ESALAD as their core philosophy of life."
- Making sure every single meeting has been thoroughly recorded and the process is well tracked.
- Every AIESECer to push themselves to the limit, out of their comfort zone because that's where you really develop and grow as a person.
- Currently working on the task force for the Local Board advisers.
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
Vice President : Shreya Sahni
" Business development wasnt going to be a portfolio initially but our honourable president decided to make it a task force and I was more than happy. And after our first transition, Tushar decided to make it a department. So Im really looking forward to this opportunity and taking BD to new heights and AIESEC in VIT."
- The team is taught to have a BD outlook towards the events taking place in and outside of AIESEC VIT.
- Establishing better relations with the university by conducting more sessions in synergy with GT and GC.
- BD does not want to restrict itself to just VIT anymore and is planning to expand to other Universities in Vellore.
INCOMING GLOBAL CITIZEN
Vice President : Rohan Raj Barua
"I am really excited to be in this position and looking forward for a very successful project. I expect full support from my members and make sure they have an insane experience."
- Basic target of the department is to have around 6-8 interns coming here for exchange.
- We are working out two project areas- Educational and Creativity.
- We have started to contact several schools and NGOs to implement these projects.
OUTGOING GLOBAL CITIZEN
Vice president : Aditiya Panjabi
"One thing I would like to tell GB is that take this opportunity and get to know yourselves and have faith in your TLs and your VPs and you will achieve your goals."
- The main target of the department is to become a self sustainable department in the future.
- Travel Diaries is an initiative taken to publicize an EP’s experience to promote more AIESECers to go on an exchange.
- Till now OGC has 18 raises and 3 IRs in Russia ,Vietnam and Philippines.
- Out of 18, 1 has already been matched in Poland
FINANCE
"Really excited to be a part of this Eb and looking forward for a wonderful cycle.
I would request all GB members to cooperate with your TLs and VPS and work as much as you can and give your best."
MARKETING
Vice President : Archit Sinha
"I am really excited to be a part of this EB and we are bunch of really talented people. What I expect from GB is they develop ownership towards this organisation and have the same passion as we senior members have."
- One target that marketing department has is that there should be at least 5 sign ups per poster.
- 2 posters for GC are already up and we have received 15 sign ups ,hence, overshooting their targets.
- Marketing department has started focusing on the GTCM model for publicity.
- AIESECinVIT has an official blog and a YouTube page now and OGC has 36 pipelines through marketing department.
GLOBAL TALENT

Outgoing Global Talent
- Concentrating on the Global Entrepreneurship Program.
- Targeting fourth year students of our college to go for a technical internship.
- They are planning youth empowerment sessions in different universities.
Incoming Global Talent
- Concentrating on finding internships in companies in and around Vellore.
- Have contacted several companies and found two contacts of the HR manager and will be setting up an appointment soon.
- They will be approaching our university for providing internship to incoming interns

INFORMATION SEMINAR-GT
An information seminar on Global Technical Internships was conducted by AIESEC in VIT on 10th and 11th September from 6:00-7:30pm in TT-304. The first day of the seminar was conducted by Raunaq Surana and Samriddhi Srikanth and second day by Jatin Bhayana and Isha Mishra under the guidance of Vishal Apte.
RYLC 2K15 was conducted 18th September 2015 onwards in Vizag.
