Updated Wednesday Activities at PV

Our State Assessment sessions are complete, but I will continue to send out the Wednesday schedule as a reminder of the different activities that are happening on each Wednesday. Like I have mentioned in earlier newsletters, your child's classroom teacher will be sending you more detailed information regarding the events listed and if you have questions please don't hesitate to reach out your child's teacher for specific information. All of these events will require you to rsvp in some way so teachers know who will be coming as we have to plan accordingly for activities and social distancing requirements. Here is the latest updated Wednesday schedule.

Student Device Return Information

As we near the end of the year, District #44 will be collecting all student devices and chargers that belong with those devices. If your child(ren) is/are attending the In-Person learning model, they will hand in their iPads/Chromebooks and charger on Thursday, May 27th. If your child(ren) is/are attending the Remote Only learning model, families will need to turn in their iPad/Chromebooks and charger(s) on Friday, May 28th between 8:30 - 4:00 pm. Classroom teachers will be sending out this information in their last few classroom communications this month. It is very important that the devices are returned on these two days.

2021-22 Supply Kit Ordering Information & Deadline

The Park View PTA has partnered with Carlson School Supplies to create grade-specific kits of all required school supplies for the 2021-2022 school year. To order your kit for next year, visit and select Lombard - Park View. When ordering, be sure to select the grade that your child will attend next year. You may order anytime between now and June 13. Hi Park View Families! Our drive is over, and we wanted to say THANK YOU for helping us gather supplies to put together our craft baskets! We had a great turnout, and we appreciate all the donations. We’re sure the seniors will too!

Thank You to Our PTA

The Park View Staff would like to thank the PTA for the incredible Staff Appreciation Week goodies and gifts. We felt very appreciated and we appreciate you too. Although we faced challenges this year your support and positive words gave us that spark of energy at just the right times.

Also - Thank you for The Amazing Race event this week. It was another opportunity for the panthers to work in teams together, which is so needed as the warm weather gives us outside opportunities for fun.
