Great Things Happening at White Center Heights

This month families are coming into school for our first student led conferences! At these conferences families will learn where their students' strengths and needs are. Students will get to share their work and classroom with their parents. This will also be a time for parents to get up and running with our online communication and information platform (Synergy) please make sure and stop by the cafeteria to sign up for online access to your students information and a messenger to communicate with your teacher.

This month we also delivered food through Northwest Harvest to many of our families, if you are in need of food please let our main office staff know, there is also the White Center Food Bank on 10829 8th Ave SW, Seattle, WA 98146 that is a constant source of free food support.

We received funding and support from community partners to start after school programs such as: Girls Who Code, Basketball Club, Boys Mentoring Group, Somali Heritage Club, and more! Be looking out for more info to be sent home with your student!

Our GLEA Baby Academy, a program that supports families in learning best practices to support their children will have their graduation this Saturday, they will start a second cohort next year at Mt. View Elementary that any family can attend, if you would like to join for free reach out to Maggie Cruz at: Magdalena.Cruz@highlineschools.org
