Important News for Multilingual Learners at Lake Bluff

Hello multilingual families!
Students, staff, and students enjoyed a beautiful day yesterday for the return of Hot Dog Day! Thank you to everyone who participated and helped out. It was wonderful to see our families and students come together and celebrate the closing out of another school year.
The last day of school will be Thursday, June 9! If you have questions about end of year activities or would like documents translated, please let me know.

Translated report card comments will also be emailed to some families. Please contact Ms. Conigliaro at jconigliaro@shorewood.k12.wi.us if you would like translated report card comments and did not receive them, or if you would like to begin receiving translated report card comments.
Important Information about the 6th Grade Celebration
- 8:30 - 9:30 Ceremony (in cafetorium)
- 9:30 - 10:00 Social time with parents/students
- 10:00 - 10:45 Playground -- music, games (TBD)
- 10:45 - 11:10 Lunch outside
- 11:10 - 11:20 Bathroom / Transition time
- 11:20 Board Buses
- 11:30 Bus Departs LB
- 12:00 - 1:00 Milwaukee River Cruise (with Edelweiss Cruises)
- 1:00 - 1:15 Transition / Board Buses
- 1:45 Bus Arrives back at school
- 1:45 - 2:45 Classroom Time
- 3:00 - 3:25 Beach Ball Toss/Signatures from classroom windows
There is NO COST to students. The Milwaukee River Cruise is for students only.

- ATW = Atwater Elementary School
- SIS = Shorewood Intermediate School
- SHS = Shorewood High School
- ALL SCHOOLS = applies to all 4 schools in the district
Look for events labelled LB or ALL SCHOOLS for your child.
New Student Enrollment for the 2022-2023 School Year
Every year, families need to provide proof of Shorewood residency if their child is not part of the Open Enrollment program. You can read more about enrollment and residency requirements by clicking this link. Residency information is also available in Simplified Chinese and Vietnamese. Please contact me at jconigliaro@shorewood.k12.wi.us if you need residency information translated into a different language.
