You are invited to join Sarah for a Family Resource night. The focus of the evening will be to share data from our recent family survey, share our school goals and budget, and engage in conversation about OCEAN family priorities as we reflect on what has been going well this school year and to help us vision what opportunities exist to grow and improve our school. Please rsvp to srubenstein@ptschools.org so we know if you are planning to attend.

OCEAN Field Trip: Friday March 3rd
Science Exploration: Pacific Science Center
Our next field trip is on Friday March 3rd. We are going to the Pacific Science Center in Seattle to enjoy a day filled with science exploration and learning.
WE NEED CHAPERONES: 1 adult for every 4 students.
CHAPERONE VOLUNTEER FORM: If you want to go to be a chaperone, make sure you fill out volunteer paperwork. You only need to complete this ONCE a year. Select this link
CARPOOL DRIVING FORM: If you can help with carpooling, please complete this paperwork. Select this link. Or grab a printed copy from Koyuki. WE NEED CARPOOL DRIVERS BECAUSE WE WILL NOT BE TAKING A BUS.

Meeting Time: 7:45 AM in Koyuki’s classroom (802)
Trip Leaves: 8:00 AM
Trip Returns: 6:00 PM
What to bring: Backpack to carry your water bottle, lunch, and snacks. Wear comfortable walking shoes. We will be walking about 4 miles round-trip in Seattle from the Ferry to Pacific Science Center and back.

8:00 AM: Meet @ OCEAN
8:10 AM: Leave OCEAN (75 minute drive to Ferry) - carpool & vanpool
9:40 AM: Walk on Bainbridge Island Ferry
10:15 AM: Arrive in Seattle
Walk to Pacific Science Center (40 minute walk)
11:00 AM: Arrive at Pacific Science Center
12:30 PM: Lunch - outside - re-entry with tickets/hand stamp
2:00 PM Laser Light Show (30 minutes)
Use the bathroom
2:50 PM: Leave Pacific Science Center - 40 minute walk to ferry
3:30 PM: Arrive at Seattle Ferry
3:50 PM: Depart Seattle
4:25 PM: Arrive in Bainbridge Island (75 minute drive back to PT)
6:00 PM: Return to OCEAN
TOTAL TIME AT PSC: ~4 hours
TOTAL CAR TRAVEL TIME: 3 Hours
TOTAL FERRY TIME: 1 hour 10 minutes
TOTAL WALKING TIME: 1 hour 20 minutes
