Box Tops for Education Update

Way to go Ebinport! During the month of September, you collected $438.40 worth of Box Tops for our school. Senor Saavedra's class collected the most with 448 Box Tops. Mrs. Doyle's and Senora Polanco's classes tied for second place with each collecting 404 Box Tops. Keep up the good work. Remind your neighbors and relatives to collect Box Tops for Ebinport.

The next collection day is Friday, October 28th. Let's see whose classroom collects the most Box Tops this month. The classroom with the most Box Tops at the end of the school year will win a pizza party!

Veterans' Day

The Related Arts team is planning a Veterans' Day program on Friday, November 11, 2016. Students are asked to wear red, white and blue or camouflage colors on Veterans' Day.

Students will participate in the Veteran's Day activities in the following schedule:

8:30-9:30 K and 3

9:30-10:30 1 and 4

10:30-11:30 2 and 5

Students are encouraged to invite a veteran to join them for their hour of activities. We will also take the time to show our appreciation for those who attend.

We would also like to find a veteran who would like to give a five minute talk to each group of students about what the flag means to veterans.

Please contact Mr. Shevy at eshevy@rhmail.org or leave a message at (803)981-1550.

Ebinport Apparel Order

Spiritwear order forms have been sent home in the weekly student folders. If you would like to place an order, make checks payable to Ebinport PTO. All orders are due by Friday, November 11th.

For questions, please contact Aimee Kline at 803-242-5224 or klinea@winthrop.edu.

Lost and Found Items

It is getting cooler outside. Parents are asked to please label all clothing, especially jackets, as well as lunch boxes and backpacks. On the last Friday of the month, all lost and found items will be displayed to students.

Donations of the unclaimed lost and found items will take place on the following first Tuesday of each month.

Lunch With Students

If parents choose to have lunch with their student, they should have lunch with their student ONLY. Children should not invite a friend to the stage to have lunch with them due to the numerous food allergies we have in the building.

Thank you for keeping all of our children safe.
