FROM THE DESK OF DR. GOLDEN
Third Quarter is off to a great start! Our students have completed their iReady Diagnostic 2 Assessments in Math and Reading. We are examining the data and planning instruction to ensure that our students are prepared for the ACAP STATE SUMMATIVE ASSESSMENT in April. Also, Second Quarter report cards were sent home on Friday, January 29, 2021. Parents, please make sure that your student is logging into Schoology for all six classes daily. There are a number of students who are not completing and submitting assignments. It is important to note that they will be RETAINED in their current grade-level if they do not make high enough grades during Third and Fourth Quarters. It is our goal to successfully educate all of our students. We ask that students take advantage of all available services. These services include reteach/re-test, after-school tutoring, and extended day tutoring. Thank you for your continued support to make Lott Middle School the best! GO WILDCATS!
