Information for the week
2016-17 Course Preference Forms
If you have not submitted the course preference forms, please do so by the end of the day on Monday, May 23, 2016. Also, for those who may be seeking to transfer to another CPS school, the last day to transfer without administrative approval is May 30.
Bell Schedule Vote
The 2016-17 Bell Schedule Vote will be conducted on Wednesday, May 25 at 2:30 in the library. All teachers are encouraged to attend the meeting for the vote.
Raby Empowerment Day
We are excited to share in our FIRST Raby Empowerment Day on Wednesday, May 25 which has been brought to us by Ms. Cannon and the counseling department. If you have any questions about the logistics, please check in with Ms. Cannon. We encourage all of our staff members to be active participants in the day that promotes healthy lives, healthy relationships, and healthy decision making.
Senior Spirit Week
The Class of 2016 is excited to celebrate their last few days as students at Raby with their annual spirit week. See the list of events below. Feel free to participate in the celebration!
Monday - Black & White Day
Tuesday - "Black Lives Matter" Embrace your inner culture by wearing Red, Black, and/or Green
Wednesday - Twin Day
Thursday - Throw Back Thursday (70s, 80s, or 90s Gear)
Friday - Sport your favorite color
Class of 2020 High School Investigation Day
Today we hosted a high school investigation day for incoming freshmen. We had a great turnout and our parents were excited to learn about Raby. Thanks to Mr. Kosko for planning an awesome event. Thanks to all of the staff and students who came out to meet and greet our new families. "One Team, One Family!"
Al Raby Featured
Atlantic Research Partners has been working with Raby for the past 3 years as a partner in our school improvement work. They have created a site for our archives that captures our time together. Please see the attached link.
I know that the end of the school year can be an extremely rough time but let's stay encouraged and motivated until the last day! Have an amazing week doing what many can only criticize but cannot really do themselves!
