Short Message from Principal Esmat

Happy second week of conferences! Many of you have had the chance to meet with your child's teacher and have learned alot about all the hard work students are doing in class. One thing is very clear, our students are working very hard and have learned so much thus far! They are certainly getting into a groove and having so much fun!

Our morning announcements have been really fun- many of our students are bringing me a "Joke for the day" to share. We certainly have many talented students!

We had our first Spirit Assembly for the year! We recognized our Students for the month. Our focus for the month of September was one of our Colt Community Expectations- Showing Respect. Students received this recognition because they are great listeners, are very helpful to their teachers and classmates, follow the school and classroom rules and are always so positive. Congratulations to all of the students who were recognized for this wonderful accomplishment!

Parking Lot

Please drive cautiously through the parking loop and around the school. There are lots of students at dismissal and drop off and we want to make sure our students are safe. To help us in the parking lot:

1. Please pull up as far as you can so we can clear up traffic.

2. Please use the crosswalks

3. Students should get out on the curb side

4. Please drive slowly

To help reduce traffic, we encourage you to walk or roll to school! It is much easier and more enjoyable!

Lunch Help?

If you are available to volunteer during lunch time (11:35-1:05) please let us know! We can use some help with our lunches. Please note that masks and proof of vaccination are required.
