A Note from the Front Office
Greetings! We cannot believe that we are already halfway through this quarter. With just a few more weeks left, please be sure to check in with your student on their grades to ensure they are caught up.
Our Be RED program is in need of more gift cards to give to our students for their Respectful, Excellent, and Determined behavior! Every Friday we celebrate two students per grade for these behaviors. Popular gift cards are Starbucks, iTunes, Fika, and Chipotle. Please bring in any $5 gift cards you are willing to donate to the main office.
We'd like to remind all our families to not drop off your students in the bus loop parking area in the morning. Also, please talk to students about the importance of using crosswalks to ensure safety for everyone.
In the upcoming weeks, many of our Douglas County School District middle and high school students will take the Healthy Kids Colorado Survey (HKCS). Please read over the PDF link below to obtain more details about the purpose and process of this survey. If you'd like to opt out your student from taking this survey, please fill in the google form. Please fill out the form for each child you'd like to opt out. The deadline for submitting this opt out form is Thursday, December 2nd.
Sources of Strength- School Campaigns
Please join us in our next school wide campaign by helping us to collect canned goods taking place the first week of December. Please review the details on the flier below.
Students also spent time in advisement setting a goal for themselves on how they could contribute to each of these school campaigns. Students wrote those goals on hands that we used to create grade level generosity trees.
