District 200 Parent Workshop Opportunity
Cultivating Resilience During COVID-19
Dr. Doug Bolton will help guide parents through these challenging times by highlighting strategies that will build resilience in our children so they can effectively manage stress now, and in the future. Following Dr. Bolton's talk there will be a Q&A session.

Virtual Variety Show is Here!!
ATTENTION WILDCAT STARS (Hybrid & VA)!!!!
We may not all be together, but we still want to see our Wildcats take their moment in the spotlight! Lincoln’s Virtual Variety Show will be showcased on the Flipgrid Stage this year! Since you are all Flipgrid pros already, show us your performance...singing, dancing, musical instruments, jokes, gymnastics, etc.

Here are the parameters:
- Videos should not exceed 2 min.
- You may upload a total of 2 acts
- We will monitor all videos before posting
- No inappropriate language or music
- We reserve the right to deem what is considered inappropriate and will screen the acts ahead of time.
-Fifth graders are welcome to participate in the fifth grade act. The act will be determined but is an easy way to participate. It will be a recited poem that will be edited together into one video. If you are interested, please indicate on the permission slip.
-Videos must be limited to family units only. In the spirit of social distancing, group acts must be limited to family members only. If you would like to meet via Zoom to record a group performance and post to FlipGrid, that is o.k. We will adhere to the current D200 and COVID-19 protocol with NO exceptions.
-Please work within your technical abilities as we don't have a way to centrally edit music or videos for you.
Timeline: Submit permission slip via Google form by 2/1/2021. Flipgrid submissions open February 1 (access will be given upon completion of the permission slip Google form). Flipgrid closes Sunday, February 14. Show goes live on Friday, February 19.

Yearbook Cover Design
For students currently attending in-person learning, you will have the opportunity to design a cover and submit the design to your classroom teacher.
For our Lincoln VA students, please click here to access information on how you can participate in designing this year's cover. If you choose to participate, we kindly ask that the design in dropped off in the front office no later than Tuesday, February 16. We will have a bin located inside Door 1 for you to submit the design.
Once we have the submissions, teachers will be given the opportunity to vote for the cover.
We look forward to viewing this year's submissions!

Kindergarten Registration Information
To help get us started, please click on the link below to access our registration form, complete the bottom portion and return to the Lincoln front office. If you know a family that is within the boundaries of Lincoln that will have a student attending next year, please share the registration form with them to help get them started.
Additional information regarding the Kindergarten Round-up event and how to submit the required registration paperwork will be coming soon.

Arrival and Dismissal Parking
When driving to Lincoln to drop-off or pick-up your child(ren), please make sure you are using the designated areas we have established to help keep everyone safe.
On the north side of campus, please use Chase St. as the area for drop-off and pick-up. Parking is not permitted on Dawes at any time. Please be respectful of our neighbors and refrain from parking in front of houses on Dawes.
On the south side of campus, please use Alchester as the main drop-off and pick-up area. Please make sure you stay inside your vehicle while in line to pick up your child(ren). Once your child is in your car, please drive forward to help keep the car line moving.

Battle of the Books!
The Lincoln Battle of the Books team has competed in two virtual battles through the Wheaton Public Library. Thus far, our team has answered all questions correctly! We will continue to host weekly online meetings and battles through the end of February. Way to go, Wildcats!

Outside Mask Breaks
Due to the limited time we have outside, students will not be playing in the snow this year. Students are welcome to wear snow pants and snow boots to and from school during the winter months. Weather permitting, we will continue to go outside for scheduled mask breaks. Please help your child prepare for the time outside by making sure they have appropriate coats, hats and gloves.

February 2nd at 302 Wheaton from 3-8pm! The first event at 302 Wheaton was our best selling night so far, and they were SO appreciative of our support!
